Under the shadow of Your wings

“We find protection under the shadow of Your wings. We feast on the abundant food You provide, You let us drink from the river of goodness. You are the source of all life…” (Psalms 36)

 Contemplating the open Heart of Jesus, and the water of life which flows from it, prepares us also for our future eternal life in the heavenly Jerusalem where “as fresh water brings joy to the thirsty, so God’s people rejoice when He saves them” (Isaiah 12).

Heart of Jesus, delight of all the saints, have mercy on us.
